Hemisferium Vertical Cylindrical/Travelling/Shepherds Dial (Pack of 1)

This Vertical cylindric sundial is one of the most widely used dials in the world, belonging to the class of altitude dials.

It is known as the cylindrical dial, the vertical dial, the travelling dial or more commonly, the Shepherd’s dial.

The dial is finished with a rotating top and two styles of gnomons (the long one for winter and the short one for summer).

Both are independent and collapsible so they can be stored inside the hollow cylinder to be transported with ease.

Materials: Beech wood (natural wax and polished), brass bathed, coloured paper, ABS cylinder.

The Vertical Cylindrical Dial measures 255mm in height, 65mm wide and with the gnomons open, 170mm wide.
